Patrick Mahony and J. W. Crump are New York City based game creators. They met in May 2025 at a Queer Artist Salon. Work started on Gay Chicken three days later.

J. W. is a TV writer and game show developer, having work featured with NBC, CMT, Vice, TBS, and the New York TV Festival.

Patrick is an Art Director whose work includes book covers, boutique packaging, digital textiles, and high-end educational materials.

J. W.’s favorite Pokémon is Vanillite and Patrick’s is Claydol.
